MTP-12 Conversion Cable

MTP® Conversion Cable,MTP®-12 F APC to 2x MTP®-4 F APC,12,OM4,OFNP,Type B

MTP® Conversion cable is designed to provide a more flexible multi fiber cabling system based on MTP® products.Unlike MTP® harness cable,MTP® conversion cables are terminated with MTP® connectors on both ends and can provide more possibilities for the existing 8-fiber cabling system.

MTP®-12 APC to 2x MTP®-4 APC conversion harness cable,whose MTP®-12 connectors only use 8 active fibers to transmit light and 4 inactive fibers not connected and MTP®-4 connectors use MTP®-12 only 4 active fibers to transmit light and 8 inactive fibers not connected.Using two MTP®-12 APC to 2x MTP®-4 APC conversion cables can link an 800G NVIDIA InfiniBend twin-prot OSFP transceiver to four 400G NVIDIA InfiniBend OSFP/QSFP112 transceivers.And,only two channels are activated when 400Gb/s transceivers are used with the 1:2 conversion cables,creating a 200Gb/s transceiver.Compared to purchasing and installing separate conversion cassettes,using MTP® conversion cables is more cost effective and lower loss.
